BMW Group Australia has announced an exciting new partnership with Australian Rugby Union team, The Wallabies, at an exclusive launch event today in Sydney.

Industry executives and the media were invited to celebrate the occasion with BMW Group Australia’s general manager of marketing, Stuart Jaffray, The Wallabies CEO, Bill Pulver, head coach Michael Cheika and senior Wallaby players.
The multi-year sponsorship agreement establishes BMW as the official vehicle partner of the Wallabies, and Australian Rugby Union, with the brand’s iconic roundel to be emblazoned on players’ shorts.
The Australian partnership strengthens the luxury marque’s international presence on the rugby field, with similar partnerships in place in England, France and South Africa.
BMW Group Australia general manager of marketing, Stuart Jaffray, confirmed the partnership was designed to expand the brand’s interaction with the popular sport.
“BMW Australia’s partnership with the Wallabies cements our position as a true automotive partner of the sport, now in four countries around the world.
“And the synergy between the two organisations is fantastic - combining passion and performance both on and off the field, with two of Australia’s most prominent brands,” Jaffray said.
The Wallabies kick start the season in July against South Africa – and with the ultimate driving force behind both teams it is set to be a nail-biting contest.
