Porsche cars can now be remotely controlled in a few of their functions via Apple Watch. In particular, the gadget may activate and set the climate plant parameters, and as well check if any doors or windows are open.

Besides, the watch may help finding a car on the parking lot, check the tyre pressure, and as well follow the accumulator charging process on Porsche cars with hybrid power plants.

Porsche noted out that the connection between the car and the mobile gadget, like previously, will be performed through iPhone, while Apple Watch play the role of an additional monitoring device.

In April, Porsche became one of the last companies that decided to mount its cars with the Apple CarPlay multimedia system. The novelty will appear on the new Porsche models. Other brands owned by Volkswagen have made a positive decision on this matter a bit earlier.
