Porsche’s Most Powerful Cayman to Become Even More Powerful
Evo, with reference to the Porsche sports department manager Andreas Preuninger, reports that Porsche isn’t excluding the possibility of creating a charged up modification of the most powerful of the currently existing Cayman coupe versions – GT4. Such model variant might receive the name GT4 RS.
According to Preuninger, the release of Porsche Cayman GT4 is the beginning of a new era. He also said that it would be interesting for him to make a Cayman GT4 RS, but the possibility hasn’t yet been discussed. He stated that if the clients will ask them for this, they will surely examine the perspective. Also, he noted that the two-year GT4 quote in the UK, Germany, and Sweden was sold out in three days.
Porsche Cayman GT4 modification was presented in March, on the Geneva motor show. The model got fitted with a 3.8-liter gasoline engine with a 385 hp output. The aggregate combines with a six-step mechanical gear box. The coupe accelerates from head start to 100 kph in 4.4 seconds.
The novelty differs from the standard coupe version with a front bumper splitter, altered air inlets, fixed fender, and a slightly altered rear bumper.
