Nissan Murano Is to Become a Hybrid Car
Shanghai motor show saw the debut of the new-gen Nissan Murano crossover hybrid variant. The novelty will be shipped to Chinese dealers this summer, but there is yet no information about this car appearing in other countries.
The hybrid power plant includes a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a mechanical booster, 20-hp electrical engine, a variator, and a set of Li-Ion accumulators.
Detailed technical specificities of the aggregates are not yet reported, but it seems that this is the same power plant as the one installed on the Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60.
The power capacity of such hybrids makes 250 hp. Thereby, the Pathfinder can go about 990 km without recharging, while its average fuel expense is 8.7 liter per 100 km of mileage.
