Nissan has officially presented the next-gen Tiida hatchback for the Russian market. In other countries, this model is sold under the name of Pulsar. The novelty will go on sale at the end of March, while its prices will be announced at the middle of the month.

The Russian market hatchback, whose release is arranged at the Izhevsk car factory capacities, differs from the Pulsar with a bigger capacity accumulator and reinforced suspension. New-gen Tiida’s road clearance is 155 mm.

Tiida’s wheelbase makes 2,700 mm. Pulsar has the same distance between its axles, while its overall length is 4,387 mm, width – 1,768 mm, and height – 1,520 mm. Luggage compartment volume of the novelty is 307 liters (1,319 liters with folded up rear seats).

The five-door car is fitted with the same engine, as the Sentra sedan: Tiida is put in motion via a 1,6-liter gasoline aggregate, whose output makes 117 hp. The engine can work in pair with either a five-step mechanic gearbox or a stepless gearbox. Dynamic characteristics of the Tiida aren’t specified at the moment, but the manufacturer noted that the model’s fuel consumption in the mixed cycle makes 6.4 liters per 100 km of mileage.

The list of optional equipment of Nissan Tiida includes the system of keyless access into the cabin and engine start, rear view mirror with automatic darkening, two-zone climate control, as well as rain and light sensors. The model can be added with NissanConnect multimedia system with a 5.8” touchscreen, navigation, and the possibility of connecting external devices and flash drives.
