Nissan Shows Its Future Compact Models’ design

During the Geneva motor show, Nissan showed its Sway concept car that demonstrated the style, in which future compact models of the brand are going to be made. Mass media refer to it as the precursor to the next-generation Micra hatchback.

It was the end of February, when the world had first learned of Sway via a teaser released by Nissan. At that time, the only thing reported about the car was that it will continue the commercial success of Qashkai and Juke models. But now, after the official debut, Nissan shared the car’s first full-fledged images. However there are steal not enough details about the car.

The company only told about the car’s design in detail, and named the overall the overall sizes: length - 4010 mm, width -17890 mm, height – 1385 mm. Wheel base’s size is 2570 mm. The prototype is 115 mm longer, than the current generation Micra, while the wheel base got increased by 135 mm. Hereby, the care became 115 mm wider and 140 mm lower. Concerning the design, it’s completed in the style of previous concept cars Lanina and IDx. According to the company’s words, it borrowed body features from the first and the front panel from the latter.

It is not known, when Nissan will release the new Sway-inspired model.
