Nissan Brings a Micra Precursor to Geneva
Nissan has spread its teaser of a conceptual Sway compact hatchback, whose public debut will take place on March 3 at the Geneva car show. There are no details about the model yet. Auto Express edition suggested that the novelty is the precursor to the new generation Micra.
Nissan outlined that during Sway’s development, they’ve applied the same method that was applied to Qashqai and Juke. However, they didn’t specify if they meant stylistic or technical specificities.
Current generation Nissan Micra was being released since 2010. In 2013, the model was restyled and its exterior look was changed according to the corporate standard – the car’s front became similar to that of Juke. The list of additional equipment got widened.
European Micra’s engine range includes two three-cylinder 1.2-liter aggregates – a 80 hp engine and a 98 hp turbocharged engine with a direct fuel injection. The car’s cost starts at 11,000 euros.
